Every morning, a 2-tank dive on the program. The first dive leads us to a channel, where we can watch sharks, napoleons, tuna, barracudas and with some luck also pilot whales. The second dive is performed on a beautiful cliff, where there are large overhangs and terraces to admire a lovely fish diversity. If you look closely, you'll find nudibranchs, small animals and crustaceans. Meeting is at 8:15 o`clock in the morning in the dive center and around 12:30 we are back for lunch.
In the afternoon, usually stands at a comfortable dive. Ideal for beginners, underwater photographers and epicures we go to low-flow diving places where we do not often find rarities such as mantis shrimp or honeycomb moray eels.
Among the very special highlights include our full-day trips. Here we go to the north of the atoll. Sometimes we explore the possibility for us completely new places which awakens the discoverer sense ... The lunch we can spend on the sun deck, where we can enjoy our treats brought in gorgeous tropical atmosphere. Lunch and drinks are of course included in the price. Meeting point for the tour with 3 dives is at 7.45 o’clock in the dive center and we return 17 against o`clock.
This is a two dive trip where we depart at 15:00 hrs. First dive is during the day and the second dive is a night dive. First dive is at Kani Medu Kandu where large grey reef sharks frequent often along with large fish schools. But also eagle rays and barracudas are common. The reef formation is very interesting with amazing black coral formations which harbor a lot of life. Second dive is at Kani Caves by night and you can see stingrays hunting and turtles sleeping inside the caves.
In the radiance of your lamp you will find free swimming and hunting moray eels, squid, snails and many other colorful reef dwellers. These are two dives with nonstop action and fun. We will be back on the island for dinner.
Kani Kandu is actually a rewarding dive spot any time of day. But a dive at sunrise is an experience you should not miss. The nightlife is just about to go to rest, while under water a new day is awakening. Manta and gray shark encounters are very common at this time of the day. With a little luck, in the early morning hours you may even encounter hammerhead sharks, which during the day withdraw in deeper regions. Departure 05:00 in the morning and return just in time for breakfast at 7:30 am.
